Property Rules
Pine & Paw Reserve is designed to give dogs and their people a private place to explore, exercise, decompress, and enjoy nature.
Our goal is simple: privacy, nature, enrichment, and respect.
Please follow these rules so every guest can enjoy the Reserve.
1. Stay With Your Dog
You are responsible for your dog at all times.
Stay attentive and be prepared to intervene if your dog becomes uncomfortable, overly excited, aggressive, or unsafe.
Do not leave your dog unattended.
2. Keep Gates Secure
Close every gate behind you.
Before opening or closing a gate, make sure your dog is safely positioned.
Never prop a gate open.
Please report any gate or fence problem immediately.
3. Leash Until Safely Inside
Dogs must remain leashed during arrival and departure.
Once you are safely inside the designated secured off-leash area, you may release your dog.
Before leaving, leash your dog before opening the exit gate.
4. Pick Up After Your Dog
Please pick up every time, every dog, every visit.
Dispose of waste properly.
Do not leave filled bags on the property.
Keeping the Reserve clean is part of respecting the next guest.
5. Know Your Dog
Pine & Paw Reserve is a private recreation space, but dogs are still dogs.
Know your dog's behavior and limitations.
If your dog becomes aggressive, excessively reactive, or otherwise unsafe, leash your dog and take appropriate action.
Do not allow your dog to repeatedly harass another dog or person.
6. Supervise Children
Children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult.
Teach children to respect dogs' space.
Do not allow children to interfere with gates, fencing, equipment, wildlife, or other guests.
7. Use Equipment Responsibly
Use agility and enrichment equipment only as intended.
Do not climb, move, modify, or misuse equipment.
If something looks damaged or unsafe, don't use it. Please let us know.
8. Respect the Land
Pine & Paw Reserve is a natural environment.
Please stay on designated areas and respect trees, vegetation, trails, wildlife, and other natural features.
Do not dig, cut vegetation, damage trees, create unauthorized trails, or remove anything from the property.
9. Respect Wildlife
Wildlife may occasionally be present.
Do not chase, feed, harass, or intentionally approach wildlife.
Keep your dog under control if wildlife is encountered.
10. Watch the Weather
Conditions can change quickly in an outdoor environment.
Use your judgment regarding heat, cold, rain, snow, ice, mud, wind, and other conditions.
Pine & Paw Reserve may temporarily close the property when conditions are unsafe.
